The Story

The Story

You know those festivals where the streets are bursting with color, music, and chaos, and you’re running from one pandal to another thinking,
“Wow, these idols are incredible… but who actually made them?” Here’s the thing: most idol makers live in small villages, work quietly in tiny workshops, and rarely get noticed. They are the real magicians behind our celebrations yet they stay behind the scenes while the festival takes
the spotlight.

So, we asked ourselves: how could a brand like Coca-Cola step in? How could we celebrate these artists, give them the attention they deserve, and at the same time promote eco-friendly Ganeshas?

What Coca-Cola stands for its tagline, Real Magic became our guiding idea. This Ganesh Chaturthi, Coca-Cola brought the real magic forward, putting the village idol makers in the spotlight. Pop-up studios across India let visitors watch short films of the artists at work, roll up their sleeves to shape their own tiny idols, and share a Coke with strangers who quickly felt like friends.

Because joy isn’t just in big celebrations. It begins in the hands of those who make them possible the real magic makers of Ganesh Chaturthi.
